Havenlon Software Edition

Same architecture. Same interfaces. Different assurance level.

Havenlon is preparing an open-source software implementation of its Execution Control architecture. The Software Edition is designed to remain aligned with the hardware implementation at the architectural, protocol, policy and interface layers, allowing developers to integrate with the same execution-control model without requiring dedicated hardware during early development, research and integration.

01 · MODEL

One execution-control model, two implementation levels

Havenlon Software Edition is not a separate security architecture. It is a software implementation of the same Execution Control model used by Havenlon's hardware systems. The objective is to preserve the same conceptual and integration boundary across software and hardware deployments, including intent representation, policy evaluation, execution authorization, evidence generation and executor-facing interfaces. This allows an integration developed against the Software Edition to follow the same architectural model when moving toward a hardware-backed deployment.

02 · ALIGNMENT

Architecturally aligned with Havenlon hardware

Execution Model

Same intent-to-execution control model.

Policy Model

Compatible execution-boundary semantics.

Protocol

Aligned protocol and message semantics.

Interfaces

Consistent integration interfaces for applications and executors.

Evidence

Compatible evidence and execution-proof model.

03 · ASSURANCE BOUNDARY

Same model does not mean the same assurance

Software Edition is intended to provide architectural compatibility, not hardware-equivalent assurance. A software-only deployment cannot reproduce the same physical trust boundary, independent execution path, secure-element protection or hardware-enforced isolation available in Havenlon hardware systems. For development, integration, research, simulation and lower-assurance deployments, the Software Edition provides an accessible way to use the Havenlon execution-control model. For high-risk execution environments, Havenlon hardware remains the higher-assurance implementation.

04 · OPEN SOURCE

An open path into Execution Control

The Software Edition is planned as an open-source entry point into the Havenlon Execution Control ecosystem. Our goal is to make the control model inspectable, testable and easier to integrate, while preserving a migration path toward hardware-backed execution boundaries when higher assurance is required.

05 · HAVENLON LABS

Follow the development

The Software Edition is under active planning and protocol convergence. Architecture, interfaces, reference implementations and open-source components will be published progressively through Havenlon Labs.
